This live blog has been closed INDIA bloc leaders on Sunday (October 4, 2026) rallied behind AISA national president Neha after she was picked up by police while attempting to march towards Jantar Mantar and allegedly taken away in a private vehicle without an official number plate, with her whereabouts initially not known to her colleagues and supporters.

All India Democratic Women’s Association (AIDWA) leaders Asha Sharma and Maimoona Mollah, RTI activist Anjali Bharadwaj, activist Navsharan Singh and other senior leaders reached Parliament Street Police Station seeking information about Neha and other women activists who had allegedly been taken away in unmarked private cars.

Neha was later released from Narela Industrial Area police station.
