Panasonic has launched the LUMIX L10 fixed lens camera in India, bringing together a compact design, LEICA optics and AI-powered autofocus in a camera aimed at photographers and content creators. The new model arrives as Panasonic marks 25 years of the LUMIX brand.
The LUMIX L10 is designed for street, travel and everyday photography, with a focus on portability and intuitive controls. It weighs approximately 508 grams and features a flat body with a metal exterior, magnesium alloy front case and saffiano leather-textured finish. The camera will be available in Black and Silver colour options.
Panasonic LUMIX L10 gets LEICA 24 75mm lens
The LUMIX L10 features a LEICA DC VARIO-SUMMILUX 24-75mm lens with a bright F1.7-2.8 aperture. The lens is designed to provide flexibility across different shooting situations while offering natural depth and background blur. It also supports macro photography from as close as 3cm.
The camera uses a 4/3-type back-illuminated BSI CMOS sensor with an effective resolution of 20.4 megapixels. Panasonic has paired the sensor with its latest-generation image processing engine, with the company claiming improved tonal expression, texture reproduction and clarity. Dynamic Range Boost is also included to retain more shadow detail when shooting still photographs in challenging lighting conditions.
The LUMIX L10 supports multiple aspect ratios, including 4:3, 3:2 and 16:9, while maintaining a consistent angle of view. This gives photographers more flexibility when composing images for different formats.
AI autofocus and REAL TIME LUT features
For focusing, the LUMIX L10 uses Phase Hybrid AF with 779 focus points. Its AI-based real-time recognition autofocus can recognise eyes, faces, bodies, animals and vehicles. It can also track dynamic scenes such as Urban Sports, helping the camera maintain focus on moving subjects.
Panasonic has also added film-inspired Photo Styles, including L.Classic and L.ClassicGold. The camera supports REAL TIME LUT, which allows photographers to load custom colour profiles directly onto the camera and preview the final look before capturing an image.
The LUMIX Lab mobile application adds another layer of creative control. Users can create personalised LUTs using AI-based colour analysis and transfer images to a smartphone for editing and sharing.
For composition and monitoring, the camera features a 2.36-million-dot OLED viewfinder and a 1.84-million-dot free-angle monitor. It supports both horizontal and vertical shooting, along with MP4 (Lite) video recording and smartphone connectivity through the LUMIX Lab app.
Panasonic LUMIX L10 price and availability in India
The Panasonic LUMIX L10 has been launched in India with an MRP of ₹1,79,990. The camera is set to go on sale starting August 2026, giving Indian photographers access to Panasonic's latest fixed lens model during the LUMIX brand's 25th anniversary year.
The camera will be offered in two colour options, Black and Silver. Panasonic is positioning the LUMIX L10 as a premium fixed lens camera for users who want a portable setup without compromising on features such as LEICA optics, advanced autofocus and in-camera creative tools.
